Mayekiso is a dedicated and experienced IsiXhosa educator with a deep passion for language, culture, and education. She has a strong foundation in both the academic and cultural aspects of isiXhosa, she has spent many years nurturing a love for the language among learners while promoting linguistic excellence and cultural pride. An educator so full of insight and wisdom, Mayekiso loves to be of help in assisting both educators and learners in matters of the curriculum. We pride ourselves as a school in having such an educator who has always been loyal to the school, and she rightfully deserves to be on the list of our senior educators!

Mr Zozi W.A

Life sciences educator

Mr Zozi is an exceptional Life Sciences educator and a passionate, results-driven soccer coach, widely respected for excellence both in the classroom and on the sports field. With a strong academic background in Life sciences and a deep commitment to learner success, he brings energy, clarity, and innovation to teaching. His lessons are known for being engaging, wel-structured, and intellectually stimulating,instilling curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for science in every learner. Beyond the classroom, he is a dedicated and highly successful soccer coach, having led the under-17 team to back-to-back league championships for two consecutive years. Under his leadership, the team has flourished through discipline, teamwork, and strategic coaching. A disciplinarian by nature, Mr Zozi has done so much in the school in terms of fostering discipline and respect among the students as a Grade 12 Head. He is admired for his ability to mentor young athletes, foster sportsmanship, and build confidence both on and off the field.

Mrs Magutywa serves as the acting Head of Department for Life Orientation. A dynamic and compassionate educational leader, who brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to student development. As HOD, she not only oversees curriculum planning, assessment, and educator support, but also leads initiatives in career guidance, values education, and social awareness. She is currently the Grade 11 Grade Head.

Geography and IsiXhosa

Mr. Ntamo is a newly appointed Geography and IsiXhosa educator at Siphamandla Secondary School, and in a short time, he has already made a lasting impression on both students and staff. Passionate about his subject science Mr. Ntamo approaches each lesson with energy, creativity, and a deep commitment to student success. Despite being new to the profession, he routinely stays after school to offer extra class sessions, prepare engaging lesson materials, and attend meetings. He has made an impact in his leadership of the BOT program. He was able to handle the different educator needs as the overseer of the program, not to mention his ability to deal with learner concerns during the program as a whole. Mr. Ntamo is not only shaping young minds he is also building a strong foundation for a meaningful and impactful teaching career.

Mr Ndubela is a highly experienced and respected Mathematics educator, currently serving as the Head of Department for Science and Mathematics. With many years of dedicated teaching and leadership, Ndubela brings a wealth of knowledge, strategic vision, and a passion for academic excellence to the role. His leadership is marked by high standards, integrity, and the ability to mentor and support staff across all levels of experience. As a Grade 10 Head, Mr Ndubela has been one of the advocates for and pioneered the drive towards having more Maths and Science FET classes at Siphamandla. This has seen our schools growth in terms of educators teaching Maths and Science over the years. He undeniably one of our many educators who believe in excellence through academic performance.

Mr. E.V. Nkohla is an outstanding senior English and History educator who is committed to excellence in the classroom and extracurricular development of his learners. He is currently central in driving the use of technology in the school, as he leads the ICT Committee. Mr Nkohla is a committed Sadtu cadre. Known affectionately as Commander by his students because he is one teacher who follows up on the issues he deems need following up at school. He believes in fair chances for all learners and makes all his grade 12 learners know that: As a student, if you live like a king now, youll work like a slave the rest of your life!

With a calm yet confident approach, he brings clarity to even the most complex mathematical concepts, making learning both accessible and engaging for his students ( especially the grade 12As and other FET classes he teaches). He is deeply committed to learner success, often going the extra mile to offer support beyond the classroom—whether through extra lessons, creative problem-solving techniques, or motivational conversations with learners who need encouragement. His classroom is an great example of good practice! His ability to connect with students has already earned him respect and admiration across grades. In addition to his teaching role, Mr. Katikati serves as a proactive member of the school's Finance Committee, where his sharp analytical skills, integrity, and attention to detail contribute to sound financial planning and accountability. Despite being a recent addition to the team, he participates in school affairs with the confidence and professionalism of a seasoned educator.

A pedagogue who is always considerate for his pupils and always makes sure that the voices of his pupils are heard , and he can be the voice of those who are not taken seriously and heard. He consistently consolidates a positive mindset and illustrates the impact of lackadaisical attitude, empowering us to strive for excellence, Mr khambi is a very passionate educator who genuinely cares about his pupils growth and well-being.
